Company OverviewIn 2005, education center owner Jared Wells realized the internal systems he had built to run his business were not providing the quality of service he desired and were limiting growth. Unable to find a commercially available solution that satisfied the specific needs of K-12 tutoring centers, he founded LearnSpeed LLC with software architect Timothy White to develop CenterTrac. LearnSpeed is dedicated to bringing advanced technologies like CenterTrac to the education market. Our mission is to provide the right tools to educational businesses that help their business improve. |

Jared WellsJared is co-founder of LearnSpeed LLC and founder of Wells Academic Solutions, a supplemental education company based in La Jolla, California. Jared has been an educator for over fifteen years, charter school administrator (founding member of the High Tech High network of charter schools.), an at-risk teen counselor, and private tutor. His interest in education developed at an early age. Jared was heavily influenced by the teachings of Dr. Thomas Gordon, author of Teacher Effectiveness Training. Better communication through effective listening is the core principle he learned by spending his summers at the Effectiveness Training headquarters in Solana Beach, California. In 1994 Jared founded Wells Academics Solutions to provide supplemental academics support to students in San Diego. Since its inception, Wells Academics Solutions has provided over eighty thousand hours of one on one instruction. Over the first 10 years in business Jared developed his own in-house system to manage his two centers. That work became the design basis for CenterTrac. Jared feels very fortunate to work with such an incredible group of professional tutors, program developers, center owners, and partners and looks forward improving both Wells Academic Solutions' and LearnSpeed's products and services. |
